Salpingectomy

by Mary Tayloron April 3, 2019May 17, 2020

I had a salpingectomy to improve fertility. Removing damaged Fallopian tube should make it possible for me to get pregnant naturally.

Finding out you have infertility is hard, but you are not alone.

  • It’s the appreciation notes for me. ❤️

I haven’t shared, but I am not a long term sub anymore. A few months ago I was asked to stay as teacher!

This school year has challenged me and created so much growth and awareness, and we are only halfway. It is definitely not an easy job, but it is so rewarding. This is part of a note I received today. If you don’t speak elementary student, the translation is below.

DEAR MRS TAYLOR YOU ARE THE BEST TEACHER I COULD EVER HAD! YOU ALWAYS MAKE THINGS POSSIBLE. YOU ALWAYS HELP US WHEN SOMETHING IS HARD. I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU WHAT ALL YOU HAVE DONE...
  • Hi friends, it’s been a while!
But I can tell you, my disappearance has been for all the right reasons.

I started grad school at UAH and started teaching elementary school. 🤩

I’m gonna throw a crazy timeline at you.
•decided to pursue teaching by looking into grad school.
•called about requirements for spring application and told fall requirement was waived and I could immediately apply.
•3 days later, approved and registered for classes.
• 4 days later, contacted about long-term subbing (12 weeks) and hired the same day. •the next day - start working as a long term sub with my very own 3rd grade class.

Within a week, my entire life changed. I have been teaching 3rd grade and taking 3 grad classes. I just wanted to share that I am alive, and busier than ever having the best time teaching these kiddos.

  • Swipe right for my views last night. 🥰 So unbelievably grateful for this man and the life we have created together. Last night we celebrated new opportunities with great food and even better wine. 🍷
  • Look down at your body. Whisper, there is no home like you. Thank you. —Rupi Kaur
